경주시의회에 따르면 전공노 경주시지부는 매년 소속 공무원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시해 멋진 시의원 및 멋진 간부공무원을 선정해 인증패를 수여하고 있다.
올해는 지난 4월 24일부터 5월 21일까지 설문조사를 실시했으며 총 633명이 참여해 멋진 시의원 1명, 멋진 간부공무원 4명을 선정했다.
이동협 부의장은 제7회, 제8회, 제10회 선발에서 멋진 시의원으로 선정됐으며, 작년인 제9회 때는 지방선거가 있는 해여서 멋진 시의원은 선발하지 않고 멋진 간부공무원만 선발했기에 실질적으로 3회 연속 멋진 시의원으로 선정됐다.
이동협 부의장은 “3회 연속 경주시 멋진 시의원으로 선정돼 매우 영광이고 앞으로도 배려와 소통으로 경주시민, 경주시 직원과 함께할 것이며, 더욱 책임감을 갖고 의정활동에 매진하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
