남 아프리카, 짐바브웨, 몰타 등 다양한 국가에서 목회 활동을 했다.
부인이 70세 생일을 맞이하여 많은 교인들과 저녁 만찬을 가졌다.
아름다운 이들이 떠나는 것은 필자에게 매우 슬픈 일이다.
천재적인 부인과 다정한 목사님을 잊을 수 없을 것이다.

美しい人たちが去っていくのを見るのはとても悲しいです。
私は天才的な妻と優しい牧師を決して忘れません。
