현대백화점은 오는 30일까지 무역센터점 11층 하늘정원에서 ‘아라비안의 날들(Arabian days and nights)’ 행사를 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 현대백화점과 주한 카타르 대사관, 외교부 공익재단법인 한국-아랍 소사이어티가 공동으로 주최하며, 자연과 음악이 어우러진 이국적 공간 연출이 특징이다.

현대백화점 관계자는 “6월 말은 이슬람 최대 명절에 해당해 중동 지역 외국인들이 가족 단위 해외여행을 많이 떠나는 기간으로, 한국을 찾는 이들도 많아 이번 행사 호응이 높을 것으로 기대한다”며 “현대백화점 무역센터점이 글로벌 명소로 더욱 거듭날 수 있도록 향후 프랑스, 스위스 등 유럽 마을을 테마로 한 행사 등도 마련할 예정이다”고 말했다.
