브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 균일가 생활용품점 (주)아성다이소는 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 행복박스 총 400개를 전달했다고 19일 밝혔다.
이번 행복박스는 주방용품, 세탁용품, 욕실용품 등 생활필수품으로 구성했고, 서울지방보훈청을 통해 서울 및 경기지역 국가유공자 등 보훈가족에 전달했다.
행복박스는 사회 취약계층이나 보훈가족, 소상공인, 재해로 피해를 입은 가정 등에 생필품을 지원하는 다이소의 대표 사회공헌 사업으로, 대상에 따라 필요한 구성품을 달리한다.
한편, 지난 5월에는 다이소 임직원들이 국립서울현충원을 찾아 묘역정화 봉사활동을 진행했다. 현충탑을 참배하고 태극기 꽂기, 묘석 닦기 등을 통해 순국선열과 호국영령의 숭고한 희생정신을 기리고 나라사랑 정신을 고취했다.
다이소 관계자는 “행복박스 전달과 묘역정화 활동을 통해 임직원들이 호국보훈의 의미를 되새길 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 다이소는 지역사회에 이바지할 수 있는 활동을 계속해 나갈 계획이다”고 전했다.
