KT&G가 ‘제15회 대단한 단편영화제’의 출품작을 다음달 9일까지 공개 모집한다.
공모는 지난해 9월 1일 이후 새로 제작된 20분 미만 단편영화이며, 참가 희망자는 KT&G 상상마당 홈페이지를 통해 출품할 수 있다.
예심을 거쳐 선정된 작품들은 오는 9월 7일부터 12일까지 KT&G 상상마당 시네마에서 열리는 영화제에서 상영된다. 이중 관객 평가와 전문위원들의 심사를 거쳐 금·은관상 및 감독상, 배우상, 관객상 등 7개 작품이 시상대에 오르며, 수상자들에게는 총 1,700만원의 상금과 트로피가 수여될 예정이다.
KT&G 관계자는 “대단한 단편영화제는 국내 독립영화의 저변 확대에 기여하고 있으며, 신인 영화감독과 배우들의 등용문이 돼 왔다”며 “이번 영화제가 관객, 영화인 모두가 즐길 수 있는 축제의 장이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
한편, KT&G 상상마당이 마련한 '대단한 단편영화제'는 지난 2007년 시작됐으며 국내 유수의 단편영화 발굴과 지원을 위해 시행하는 문화공헌 프로그램이다.
