브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설이 지난 23일 베트남 하노이에서 베트남 건설개발 투자기업인 TTA(Truong Thanh Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company)와 신재생에너지 사업에 대한 포괄적 협력 MOU를 체결했다.
업무협약은 대우건설 한승 해외사업단장, TTA 응우엔 티 응옥 회장이 서명했으며, 서명식에는 정원주 대우건설 회장, 이창양 산업통산자원부장관, 응우옌 찌 중 베트남 기획투자부장관 등이 함께 했다.
TTA는 수력, 태양광, 풍력 등 신재생에너지 사업에 투자하고 건설하는 베트남의 전문기업으로, 48MW 용량의 Ngoi Hut 수력발전소를 비롯해 62MWp 용량의 Bau Ngu 태양광 발전소 등 총 5곳의 상업용 발전소를 보유하고 있다.
TTA는 향후 대우건설과 사업을 공동으로 추진하면서 프로젝트 개발, 구현에 필요한 정보를 제공하고 베트남 현지 인허가 및 승인 관련 업무를 담당할 계획이며, 대우건설은 사업 타탕성 조사 지원 및 자금조달 협력, EPC 수행 등을 맡게 될 예정이다.
이번에 대우건설이 체결한 MOU는 베트남 정부의 탄소중립 정책 및 최근 제8차 국가전력계획(PDP8) 확정에 따라 베트남 전력시장 내에서 신재생에너지에 대한 수요가 확대되는 것에 대비하기 위한 것으로, 향후 TTA에서 베트남 추진 중인 총 10억 달러 규모의 신재생에너지 사업에 공동으로 참여할 수 있는 방안을 개척하게 됐다.
베트남은 평균 태양 복사량 150kcal/㎡, 연간 약 2000~5000 시간을 차지하는 중부 및 남부지역에서 태양광, 태양열 발전에 대한 잠재력이 큰 국가로 간주되며, 강우량이 많은 열대 기후 지역에 3100m 이상의 해발고도까지 갖춘 지리적 특성으로 수력발전도 높은 효율성을 보이는 국가다. 또한, 총 3400km 이상의 지리적 위치와 3400km 이상의 해안선을 보유하고 있어 향후 해상풍력발전 분야에서도 뛰어난 입지 조건을 갖추고 있다.
