학교폭력 예방을 위한 제2회 ‘3:3 청소년 농구대회’가 지난 6월 17일 군포시민체육광장 제1체육관에서 군포YMCA(이사장 송성영) 주최, 군포시가야종합사회복지관(관장 최용일) 주관, GS파워주식회사(사장 조효제) 후원으로 성황리에 개최됐다.
이번 청소년 농구대회는 중등부 16팀, 고등부 8팀이 참가했으며, 군포시체육회, 군포시농구협회, 산본간호학원의 도움을 받아 진행됐다.
2022년을 시작돼 올해 2회를 맞이한 3:3 청소년 농구대회는 정보화시대를 넘어 디지털시대를 살아가는 청소년들의 학교폭력(사이버볼링, 그룹체팅 욕설, 합성사진 유포 등)을 예방하고 온라인이 아닌 오프라인 사회 속에서 또래와 함께 협동하는 공동체의식을 강화함으로써 건강한 사회구성원으로의 성장을 지원하자는 취지에서 개최됐다.
대회에서는 군포중앙고 치어리더 공연팀 ‘치어스’의 공연, 송성영 군포YMCA 이사장의 환영사, 전영욱 GS파워주식회사 상무의 대회사, 하은호 군포시장의 격려사, 이학영 국회의원, 최진학 국민의힘 당협위원장, 서정영 군포시체육회장, 김순기 군포시농구협회장의 축사가 있었다. 또한, 청소년들이 학교생활 속에서 학교폭력의 심각성을 인지하고 이를 예방하기 위한 학교폭력 예방 선서식을 통해 대회의 의미를 더했다.
