의왕도시공사, ‘의왕시 청년 취업 멘토링’멘토-멘티 결연식 개최

의왕도시공사가 지난 6월 30일 의왕시 청년을 대상으로 하는 취업 멘토링 프로그램의 멘토-멘티 결연식을 개최했다.

‘의왕시 청년 취업 멘토링’은 도시공사 현직 직원들이 관내 취업 준비 청년의 멘토로 나서 갈수록 심해지고 있는 청년 취업난 해결에 기여하고자 기획됐다.

취업 멘토링 프로그램은 7월부터 11월까지 5개월간 자기소개서 작성 및 첨삭, 면접 준비 등 멘티별 맞춤형으로 진행되며, 무사히 멘토링을 마친 멘티에게는 공사 사장 명의의 멘토링 프로그램 수료증이 수여될 예정이다.

의왕도시공사는 지난 6월 17일부터 21일까지 5일간 의왕시에 거주하는 청년을 대상으로 멘티를 온라인으로 모집했다. 이후 멘토의 전공 및 경력과 멘티의 관심 분야를 고려해 1:1 멘토, 멘티로 구성된 5개의 멘토링 팀이 결성됐다.

문병기 의왕도시공사 경영사업본부장은 “청년 취업난이 갈수록 심해지는 시기에 지역 청년들의 취업에 공사가 직접적으로 도울 수 있는 계기가 마련되어 기쁘다”며 “금번 멘토링 활동을 통해 멘티들이 많은 도움을 받고 좋은 결실을 맺기 바란다”고 말했다.
