21일 공단에 따르면 ‘안전보건 강조의 달’은 고용노동부의 ‘2023 산업안전보건의 달’행사에 발맞춰 기관장의 안전경영 의지를 전파하고 직원이 직접 참여하는 행사로 기획됐다.
공단은 7월 한달 간 안전보건경영방침 선포식, 어린이 안전일기장 배포, 직장인 마음건강 캠페인, 여름철 안전 캠페인, 합동 안전보건점검, 건강증진 특별교육, 안전슬로건 공모 등 다양한 행사를 개최한다.
조성돈 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은 “안전문화 기반의 안전일터는 기관장의 의지는 물론 직원들이 적극적으로 참여할 때 비로소 완성됨”을 강조하며, “국민과 근로자 모두의 안전을 위해 안전문화 확산활동에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
