브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 기아는 진로체험 멘토링 프로그램 ‘기아 인스파이어링 클래스 – Future Insights Webinar’ 참가자를 전국 중·고등학생 및 학부모를 대상으로 모집한다고 16일 밝혔다.
기아의 청소년 대상 사회공헌활동인 ‘기아 인스파이어링 클래스(Kia Inspiring Class)’의 프로그램으로 진행되는 ‘퓨쳐 인사이트 웨비나(Future Insights Webinar)’는 모빌리티, IT, 게임, 방송, 문화 컨텐츠 등 다양한 산업의 전문 직업군 멘토(9인) 및 기아 임직원 멘토(5인)의 온라인 진로체험 특강으로 이뤄진 온라인 세미나로 오는 23일부터 9월 1일까지 진행된다.
참가자 모집 기간은 오는 22일 오후 12시까지며, 전국 중·고등학생 및 학부모라면 누구나 포스터의 QR 코드 스캔 후 관심 있는 분야의 멘토를 선택해 신청서를 작성하면 된다.
웨비나 모집인원은 410명으로 접수 후 문자로 개별 통지되며, 접수인원 초과 시 추첨을 통해 최종 선발될 예정이다.
기아 관계자는 “미래세대의 주역인 청소년들에게 진로 탐색 경험을 제공할 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “각 분야의 전문가 및 임직원들이 쌓아온 경험이 청소년들의 진로 선택에 조금이라도 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
한편, 기아는 전문가에게 상시 진로 상담을 받을 수 있는 카카오톡 채널 ‘진로쌤’에서 전국 진로 진학상담교사연합회의 교사들과 진로와 관련된 1:1 상담도 지속적으로 후원하고 있으며, 청소년 진로 체험 및 탐색의 기회를 제공하기 위해 진로 콘서트 및 교육 등 다양한 프로그램을 진행하고 있다.
