배우 옹성우의 팬들이 7월 집중호우와 태풍‘카눈’ 피해 극복에 힘을 더했다.
희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 8월 25일 언론에 배포한 보도자료를 통해 옹성우 팬클럽 ‘디시인사이드 옹성우 갤러리’가 최근 집중호우와 태풍 피해를 입은 이웃들을 위해 써달라며 성금 825만 524원을 맡겨왔다고 밝혔다.
디시인사이드 옹성우 갤러리는 배우 옹성우의 생일을 뜻깊게 기념하고자 옹성우의 생일(8월 25일)과 공식 팬클럽 ‘위로’의 탄생일(5월 24일)을 조합한 금액을 기부해 옹성우와 위로의 마음을 함께 전했다.
기부에 참여한 팬들은“국내 재난 극복을 위해 기부했던 옹성우의 선한 영향력에 따라 작년에 이어 올해에도 동참하고자 한다”며 “7월 집중호우 피해가 복구되기도 전에 태풍 피해가 발생해 어려움을 겪는 분들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
옹성우는 지난 2019년 강원 산불을 비롯해 2020년 수해에 재난 피해 이웃을 위한 나눔에 동참했다. 옹성우 팬들 역시 2022년 수해에 이어 두 번째로 기부에 동참하며 꾸준한 나눔을 이어가고 있다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “지난 2022년 수해에 이어 이번에 발생한 호우와 태풍 피해에도 기부해주신 배우 옹성우 팬들에게 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드린다”라며 “희망브리지는 하루빨리 이재민들이 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
