브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 종합환경위생기업 세스코(대표이사 전찬혁)는 원룸에 특화된 ‘해충케어 서비스’를 출시했다고 31일 밝혔다.
‘원룸 해충케어 서비스’는 원룸 가구를 대상으로 쥐, 미국바퀴, 검정개미 등 외부에서 침입할 수 있는 해충 11종에 대해 방제서비스와 침입 예방관리 서비스를 제공하는 1회성 서비스 상품이다.
일반적으로 해충은 택배 상자 등 외부에서 집으로 들여오는 물건을 따라 들어오거나 주방 배관, 화장실 하수관 및 각종 틈새를 통해 가정에 유입된다.
원룸의 경우에는 특히 옆집, 윗층, 아랫층의 하수구 배관과 연결된 경우가 많기 때문에, 건물 내 다른 가구에서 해충이 목격됐다면 해당 거주지만의 문제가 아닌 경우도 많다.

세스코 관계자는 “원룸에 특화된 해충케어 서비스로, 가격부담을 낮췄기 때문에 가심비를 중시하는 MZ세대 및 사회초년생에게 호응을 얻을 것으로 기대한다” 며 “해충케어가 필요하지만 낯선 외부인 출입을 경계하는 1인가구 대상으로 신뢰할 수 있는 세스코 해충 전문가가 방문하여 안심하고 서비스 받을 수 있다는 것도 장점”이라고 밝혔다.
