한중도시우호협회측은 9월7일자 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장이 7일 오전(현지시각) 태국 방콕 소재 국방대학교(Thai National Defense College)에서 열린 '일대일로(一帶一路) 10주년 기념 국제포럼'에서 영상 축사를 했다”고 전했다.
이날 행사는 '일대일로' 10주년을 기념해 중국 외문국(外文局)과 태중(泰中) 일대일로 연구센터 등이 공동 주최했다. 주최측은 한국의 권기식 회장과 일본의 하토야마 유키오(鳩山由紀夫) 전 총리를 공동 축사자로 초청했다.
권기식 회장은 축사에서 "시진핑 중국 주석이 지난 2013년 제안한 '일대일로'는 이제 10주년을 맞이하게 되었다. 일대일로 이전이 서방 선진국들의 수탈과 착취를 기반으로 짜여진 불평등의 세계였다면, 일대일로 이후의 세계는 개발도상국들의 상호협력과 연대로 공동번영을 추구하는 세계로 나아가고 있다"고 말했다. 이어 "일대일로는 이제 60개국 이상이 참여하고 아시아와 아프리카, 유럽을 육해공으로 잇는 인프라ㆍ무역ㆍ금융ㆍ문화의 경제벨트로 확고히 자리잡았다"며 "앞으로 100년 이상의 추진 과정에서 세계와 세계인들의 삶과 문명구조를 더욱 발전되고 조화롭게 만들 것"이라고 강조했다.
