[김완영 기자 = 동두천] 경기 동두천시(시장 박형덕)는 지난 21일 인덕대학교 은봉관에서“동두천을 말하다”라는 주제를 갖고 열린 토크를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 열린 토크는 인덕대학교에 재학 중인 동두천시 학생들을 만나 격려하고 시에 대한 불편 및 건의 사항을 청취하여 해결방안을 모색하는 등 MZ세대들과 직접 소통하기 위해 마련되었다.
이번 행사는 인덕대 협조로 박홍석 총장 면담, 시설 견학,“동두천을 말하다”열린 토크 순으로 진행됐다.
박형덕 동두천시장은 “인덕대 학생들을 만나 무척 기쁘게 생각하고, 앞으로 동두천시 교육 발전을 위해 학생 여러분과 자주 소통하며 학생들이 편하게 공부할 수 있는 쾌적한 교육환경 조성에 힘 쓰겠다”고 밝히며 “ 오늘 인덕대 학생들의 불편 사항(전철 증편)을 최대한 빠른 시일 내에 처리할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
