브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 삼성증권은 고객들이 추석 연휴에도 해외주식을 편리하게 투자할 수 있도록 연휴 기간 동안 해외주식 데스크를 평일과 동일하게 운영한다고 26일 밝혔다.
해외주식 데스크는 설, 추석 등 연휴에도 개인 고객은 물론, 연기금 등 기관투자자들에게 매매를 지원하는 서비스로, 이번 추석 연휴(9월 28일~10월 3일)에도 운영된다.
삼성증권에서는 지난해 2월 업계 최초로 출시한 미국주식 주간거래 서비스를 통해 추석 연휴 낮에도 미국주식을 매매할 수 있다. 삼성증권에서는 미국 주식 매매와 관련해 주간거래, 프리마켓, 정규장, 애프터마켓을 모두 합치면 한국시간 기준으로 매일 09시부터 다음날 07시 30분까지 거래가 가능하다.
삼성증권은 해외주식 시장 투자자들의 편의를 위해 지난해 11월부터 해외주식 소수점 매매 서비스도 운영 중이다. 삼성증권 모바일 앱 엠팝(mPOP)에서 이용 가능한 해외주식 소수점 매매 서비스는 한 주당 가격이 상대적으로 고가인 대형 우량주를 소액으로도 투자할 수 있다.
특히, 최소 1달러로 원하는 주기와 기간을 설정하면 자동으로 해외주식 소수점을 적립해주는 ‘해외주식 소수점 적립 서비스’도 지난 7월에 오픈했다.
