브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국경영학회가 18일 삼성전자 서초사옥 다목적홀에서 ‘이건희 회장 3주기 추모·삼성 신경영 30주년 기념 국제학술대회’를 개최했다.
올해는 이건희 삼성 선대회장이 1993년 독일 프랑크푸르트에서 신경영을 선언하고 본격적인 경영 혁신에 나선지 30주년이 되는 해다. 이번 국제학술대회는 고인의 리더십과 사회공헌, 삼성의 신경영을 재조명하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 행사에는 김재구 한국경영학회장, 김황식 호암재단 이사장을 비롯해 국내외 석학들과 삼성 관계사 임직원 등 총 300여명이 참석했음
김재구 한국경영학회장은 개회사에서 “이건희 선대회장은 미래 지향적이고 도전적인 경영으로 삼성을 세계적인 초일류기업으로 성장시켰다”며 “이번 국제학술대회는 한국 기업의 창조적 혁신과 새로운 도약을 모색하는 기회가 될 것이다”고 말했다.
김황식 호암재단 이사장은 기념사에서 “이건희 선대회장은 기업이 가진 인재와 기술을 중심으로 국가 사회가 처한 문제들을 근본적으로 해결하고자 했다”며 “신경영 정신 재조명을 통해 한국 기업의 미래 준비에 이정표를 제시하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했음
신경영 30주년 국제학술대회에는 경영·경제·인문·인권 분야의 세계 최고의 석학들이 연사로 초청됐다.
연사들은 삼성 신경영을 △기술 △전략 △인재 △상생 △미래세대 △신흥국에 주는 함의 등 6가지 관점에서 분석하고, 신경영이 갖고 있는 현재적 의미에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
기조 연설은 2017년 세계 1위 ‘경영 사상가’로 선정된 로저 마틴 토론토대 경영대학원 명예교수와 신학·인문학 분야 권위자인 김상근 연세대 신학대 교수가 맡았다.
로저 마틴 명예교수는 ‘이건희 경영학의 본질은 무엇인가’를 주제로 전략 이론가(Strategy Theorist)이자 통합적 사상가(Integrative Thinker)로서의 면모를 소개했다.
마틴 명예교수는 “이건희 선대회장이 미래에 대한 상상력과 통찰력을 보유한 전략 이론가였으며, 통합적 사고에 기반해 창의적 해결책을 만들어내는 능력을 갖춘 통합적 사상가였다”고 평가했다.
이어 김상근 교수는 ‘르네상스人 이건희와 KH 유산의 의의’를 주제로 이건희 선대회장의 ‘KH 유산’으로 이뤄진 대규모 사회환원의 의미를 되새기며, 고인이 경영 외적인 분야에서도 전례 없이 큰 유산을 국가에 남겼다고 소개했다.

이건희 선대회장의 유족들은 2021년 미술품 2만3000점을 국가기관 등에 기증하고, 감염병 및 소아암·희귀질환 극복을 위해 총 1조원을 기부하는 등 고인이 남긴 ‘KH 유산’을 사회에 환원했다.
