브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회는 지난 달 28일 한국마사회 본관 대회의실에서 경마공정성 강화를 위한 ‘대국민 아이디어 공모전’ 입상작 15편을 발표하고 시상식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 공모전은 국민의 아이디어를 적극 수렴하여 경마시행 현장에서 공정성을 강화하는데 필요한 대책을 마련하기 위해 올해 최초로 시행됐다. 이번 공모전에는 대학생, 회사원, 경마고객 등 폭넓은 참여자들이 다양한 아이디어를 제안하며 의미를 더했다.
정책, 기술, 협업의 3개 공모 분야에 총 66편의 아이디어가 제출되었다. 엄정한 심사를 거쳐 15편의 아이디어가 최종 입상작으로 선정됐고, 한국마사회장 상장 및 총 500만원의 상금이 수여됐다.
이번 공모전 최우수상은 ‘짧은 동영상 플랫폼을 활용한 경마비위 사전예방 홍보 및 경마비위 신고방법 챌린지를 통한 신고참여 유도에 관한 아이디어’를 제출한 김유림씨에게 돌아갔다.
또한, ‘포털사이트 내 불법도박 사이트 연관내용 검색 시 피해사례 등 이미지화된 광고 표출’, ‘경마비위 지시행위에 대한 무기명 ARS 신고 체계 신설 및 전자카드 내에 공정경마 투표시스템 도입’, ‘신고포상제도 홍보영상 숏폼 형태 제작’, ‘QR 코드를 활용한 경마비위 신고시스템 개발’ 등 다양하고 창의적인 아이디어들이 입상작으로 선정됐다.
공모전을 주관한 한국마사회 김종철 고객서비스본부장은 “스포츠에서 선수들의 경기력도 중요하지만, 공정한 경기운영이 가장 중요한 것처럼, 경마도 공정한 시행이 가장 중요하다”며 “이번 공모전을 통해 국민들의 경마공정에 대한 눈높이를 확인 할 수 있었고, 이번에 입상한 국민 아이디어를 경마시행 현장에 적극 반영하여 국민이 체감할 수 있는 경마공정성 향상에 더욱 매진하겠다”고 전했다.
