시설 노후화로 인한 개선이 절실히 요구됐던 대전선화초등학교 조리실과 식당 증축이 가능하게 됐다.
더불어민주당 황운하 의원 ( 대전 중구 , 국회 정무위원회 ) 에 따르면 초등학교 노후시설 개선에 쓰일 2023 년도 하반기 특별교부금 21 억 900 만 원을 교육부로부터 확보했다고 밝혔다.
황운하 의원이 확보한 하반기 교육부 특별교부금은 대전선화초 조리실 및 식당 증축사업 19 억 7,200 만 원 , 대전중촌초 천장 교체사업 1 억 3천 700 만 원으로 총합 21 억 900 만 원이다 .
대전선화초와 대전중촌초는 1945 년 , 1993 년 각각 개교한 공립초등학교로 , 노후화된 학교 시설에 대한 개선 필요성이 꾸준히 제기돼왔다 .
대전선화초 조리실 및 식당 증축사업 , 대전중촌초 천장교체사업이 완료되면 학생들의 건강과 학업 성취도에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 내다보고 있다 .
