군포시가 보건복지부 주관 ‘2023년 지방자치단체 보육정책 평가’에서 ‘우수기관’으로 선정됐다.
군포시는 보조교사 및 대체교사 지원으로 보육교사 처우 개선 기여 항목과 통학차량·급식 등 안전사고 발생 방지를 위한 현장 점검 실시를 포함한 평가 항목 모든 분야에서 높은 평가를 받아 우수기관으로 선정됐다.
이와 함께 어린이집 운영관리의 투명성과 공공성을 제고하기 위해 관내 어린이집 원장 역량강화를 실시하고, 외국인아동 보육료 지원 등 적극적인 보육시책사업 추진을 통해 ‘영유아가 행복한 보육환경 조성’을 위해 노력한 점이 인정을 받았다.
보건복지부는 매년 전국 17개 광역 및 226개 기초지자체를 대상으로 보육교사 처우개선, 예산집행관리, 안전관리, 공보육 확충 등 보육정책 전반에 대한 추진 노력과 결과 등을 기준으로 보육정책 우수기관을 선정하고 있다.
