인천공항에 따르면 해당 기간(2월 8~12일, 5일간) 예측치는 총 여객 기준 97만 6922명, 일평균 기준 19만5384명이다. 이는 지난해 설 연휴 일평균 여객 12만7537명 대비 53.2% 증가했으며, 2020년 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 명절(설, 추석) 연휴 실적 중 최고치에 해당한다.
특히, 이번 예측치는 코로나19 이전인 2019년 설 연휴 일평균 실적 20만2085명 대비 96.7% 수준까지 회복한 수치로, 항공수요가 코로나19 팬데믹 이전으로 완전 정상화됐음을 보여주고 있다.
