[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 26일 수요맞춤형 태양광 확대 보급사업인 ‘김해형 태양광 프로젝트’ 다자간 업무협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약식은 홍태용 시장을 비롯 이상희 교보리얼코 본부장, 이영찬 한국동서발전 부사장, 신창동 경남에너지 대표이사, 위난구 ㈜그랜드썬기술단 대표이사 등이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
이는 다양한 형태의 태양광 보급을 위한 전국 최초 다자간 업무협약으로 시는 안정적이고 지속가능한 사업이 가능한 협약기업을 발굴해 관내 기업체 건물 지붕 등 유휴공간에 임대형, RE100형, 자가소비형, 상업용발전형 등 수요자에게 다양한 선택권을 제시하는 수요맞춤형 태양광 보급사업을 추진한다.
이를 위해 시는 발전사업 인·허가 등 적극적인 행정 지원을 하고 협약기업은 특화된 역량에 따라 수요자가 원하는 다양한 모델의 태양광 발전설비를 설치함으로써 김해지역 신재생에너지 보급 확대에 기여한다.
협약기업들은 또 부지 검토에서부터 설계, 시공, 운영, 유지관리까지 관내 업체를 우선으로 선정해 지역경제 활성화에 도움을 준다.
이번 사업은 향후 10년간 431MW 규모 태양광 발전설비 설치를 목표로 한다.
이러한 목표치는 15만7,314가구가 사용할 수 있는 56만6,334MWh의 발전량을 얻을 수 있으며 13만1,455toe 화석에너지를 대체하는 효과가 있다.
이에 따른 고용유발효과는 7,823명으로 추산되며 발전사업 수익은 참여기업과 수요자들이 공유하게 된다.
홍 시장은 “김해형 태양광 프로젝트로 기업 경쟁력 강화와 지역경제 활성화, 또 환경까지 생각하는 일석삼조의 효과를 거둘 것으로 기대한다”며 “좋은 결과를 낼 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
