브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블은 대학생 서포터즈 프로그램 ‘마블챌린저’ 21기 발대식을 넷마블 지타워에서 실시했다고 12일 밝혔다.
‘마블챌린저’로 선발된 학생들은 오는 8월까지 약 6개월 동안 격주로 넷마블 사옥 지타워에서 실무자와 함께 △뉴미디어(틱톡, 릴스 등) 콘텐츠 제작 △마블챌린저 공식 네이버 블로그 콘텐츠 작성 △게임, 1020 인기 이슈 등 트렌드 분석 △온·오프라인 행사 기획 △사회공헌활동 지원 등 다양한 실무를 체험하게 된다.
마블챌린저 21기 인원들에게는 수료증을 발급하고 향후 넷마블 입사지원 시 서류전형 우대, 활동비 지급, 실무자 멘토링 등의 혜택이 제공된다.
넷마블 임현섭 뉴미디어 팀장은 “아스달 연대기: 세 개의 세력, 나 혼자만 레벨업:어라이즈 등 넷마블의 기대작 관련 다양한 프로그램을 준비하고 있다”며 “틱톡 등 MZ 세대가 이용 중인 플랫폼을 활용해 뉴미디어 실무를 폭 넓게 경험할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않을 예정이다”고 말했다.
한편, 2013년부터 운영 중인 ‘마블챌린저’는 국내 게임업계에서 가장 오래된 대학생 대외활동 프로그램이다. 지난 20기까지 총 185명의 수료자를 배출했으며, 이중 61%의 취업 대상자가 게임업계에 종사하는 등 국내 게임인재 양성에 기여하고 있다.
