인도네시아 대학생들의 성장 지원을 위한 업무협약(MOU)이 지난 8일 체결됐다.
KT&G 상상유니브 인도네시아는 이날 자카르타에 위치한 따루마나가라 대학교(UNTAR) 캠퍼스에서 업무협약을 체결하고 지원에 들어갔다.
업무협약식에는 KT&G 상상유니브 인도네시아와 따루마나가라 대학교 관계자들이 참여했다.
이번 업무협약으로 KT&G 상상유니브 인도네시아는 따루마나가라 대학교 캠퍼스에 ‘상상유니브존’을 개관하고 대학생들을 위한 지원에 나선다.
‘KT&G 상상유니브’는 대학생들의 문화적 소양과 취업능력을 제고하기 위해 KT&G가 국내외에서 운영중인 사회공헌 프로그램이다.
KT&G는 지난 2017년부터 인도네시아에 현지 대학생들로 구성된 상상유니브를 운영중이다. 대표적인 프로그램으로는 온·오프라인 클래스, 상상페스타, 상상스타트업스쿨 등이 있다.
‘상상유니브존’은 상상유니브 활동의 주요 거점이자 대학 내부의 창의적 공간으로 전공 수업 이외의 다채로운 강의들로 채워질 예정이다.
상상유니브는 자카르타 주립대학교와 비누스 대학교에도 ‘상상유니브존’을 개관해 운영중이며, 인도네시아 현지 유니브존 수강생은 누적 2만여 명을 넘어섰다.
KT&G 관계자는 “인도네시아에 10년 이상 사업을 지속해온 기업으로서 책임감을 가지고 대학생들의 사회진출을 도울 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 운영중이다”라며, “앞으로도 미래세대의 성장을 지원하며 글로벌 기업으로서 사회적 책임을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
