진주시, 개인정보 관리수준 진단 A등급 2년 연속 ‘달성’

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 개인정보보호위원회가 796개 공공기관 대상으로 실시한 ‘2023년 공공기관 개인정보 관리수준 진단’에서 A등급을 달성했다고 18일 밝혔다.

이번 관리수준 진단은 올해부터 실시 예정인 ‘개인정보 보호 수준 평가’ 기준을 시범 적용해 서면 검증 기준이 강화되고 정성 지표 비중이 대폭 확대됐다.

이번 평가에 따르면 진주시는 정량 지표와 정성 지표 모두 평균을 웃도는 수준으로 최종 A등급을 달성해 개인정보 관리에 충실한 기관으로 인증 받았다.

특히 시는 인포그래픽을 활용해 시민에게 알기 쉽게 안내한 점, 개인정보보호 교육, 개인정보 처리방침의 적절성 개인정보 처리업무 수탁사 관리 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

진주시 관계자는 “앞으로도 시민을 위해 개인정보를 더욱 철저하게 보호하고 관리해 행정서비스의 신뢰도를 높여 나가겠다”고 말했다.
