한울1,2호기 방사선환경영향평가서 초안 주민공청회 개최

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 한울1,2호기 계속운전을 위한 ‘방사선환경영향평가서 초안 주민공청회’를 6월 25일 울진군 및 봉화군, 26일 삼척시 읍·면 주민을 대상으로 한울본부 홍보관 대강당에서 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 공청회에서 한울1,2호기 계속운전으로 인한 방사선환경영향평가 결과와 지난 3월에시행한 주민 공람 결과를 설명하고 울산과학기술원(UNIST) 방인철 교수를 좌장으로 전문가 패널을 구성하여 주민들이 사전 제출한 의견진술과 현장 질의에 대한 답변을 진행했다.

주요 논의사항은 안전한 계속운전, 지역주민과의 신뢰 증진, 지역경제 활성화 및 지역 상생 방안 등이었다.
