충남 서산시가 2024년 7월 1일자로 기존 4국에서 5국으로 조직을 개편하고 하반기 정기인사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 조직 개편은 지난 3월 인구수에 의한 시·군·구의 실·국장급 기구 수 상한 폐지를 골자로 한 '지방자치단체의 행정기구와 정원기준 등에 관한 규정' 개정에 따른 후속 조치다.
서산시는 다양한 환경 문제에 적극적이고 체계적인 대응을 위해 환경녹지국을 신설하는 한편, 경제환경국을 경제산업국으로, 건설도시국을 건설교통국으로 명칭 변경했다고 설명했다.
조직개편과 함께 단행한 하반기 정기인사는 승진 69명, 전보 200명 등 총 290여명 규모다.
직급별 승진인원은 △4급 2명 △5급 및 지도관 6명 △5급 승진요원 1명 △6급 15명 △7급 17명 △8급 28명으로 총 69명이다.
주요 인사로는 △경제산업국장 한현교 스마트정보과장(승진) △환경녹지국장 이기영 자치행정과장(승진)이 임용됐다.
시에 따르면 이번 인사는 민선 8기 반환점을 맞아 추진해 오던 주요 공약 및 현안 사업들의 가시적인 성과 창출을 위해 과장급 인사를 최소화하고 조직의 안정을 기하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
