[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 2일(현지시간) 포르투갈 리스본에 있는 주 포르투갈 대한민국 대사관을 방문해 조영무 대사와 간담의 시간을 가졌다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 간담회는 조규일 시장이 유네스코 창의도시 네트워크(UCCN) 연례회의 참석차 포르투갈을 방문하면서 진행됐다.

이날 간담회에서 조 시장은 유네스코 전통공예ㆍ세계민속예술 비엔날레 행사와 진주 K-기업가정신의 세계적 확산을 위한 다양한 방안에 대한 의견을 나눴다.

조규일 시장은 “진주시 유네스코 전통공예ㆍ세계민속예술 비엔날레가 유네스코 창의도시와의 유대를 통해 국제적인 행사로 발전할 수 있도록 적극적인 협력을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

조영무 대사는 “유네스코 전통공예ㆍ세계민속예술 비엔날레와 진주 K-기업가정신 국제포럼의 성공적 개최에 적극적으로 협조를 하겠다”고 전했다.
