[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 이반성면 산사태취약지역 현장을 방문해 ‘2024년 집중안전점검 심층점검’을 실시했다고 4일 밝혔다.
시는 지난달 29일 14시부로 전국에 산사태 위기경보‘주의’단계가 발령되고, 본격적인 장마가 시작되는 등 여름철을 맞아 자연재난 발생 우려가 많아지고 있다.
이에 진주시는 차석호 부시장, 도시건설국장, 민간전문가 3명 등과 함께 드론장비를 활용해 산사태취약지역 사전 점검을 실시하면서 위험요소 제거에 행정력을 집중하고 있다.
시는 산사태취약지역 157개소에 대해 매년 2회 이상 정기점검을 실시하고 있으며, 호우 및 장마 시 취약지역을 방문해 사전 점검 등 반복적으로 안전 점검을 지속해 나가고 있다.
차석호 부시장은 “시민들이 안전하게 생활할 수 있도록 안전문제는 지나칠 정도로 예찰활동을 강화해야 한다” 며 “지속적인 관심과 행정지도 또한 매우 중요하다”고 말했다.
