[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] ‘제14회 전국기초단체장 매니페스토 우수사례 경진대회’가 오는 30, 31일 양일간 인제대학교에서 열린다.
전국 시군구 자치행정 우수 공약과 정책 사례를 발굴, 공유, 학습하는 장인 이번 대회는 한국매니페스토실천본부와 경남연구원이 공동 주최하고 김해시가 후원한다.
대회는 전국 148개 시군구가 참여한 가운데 ‘다시 쓰는 지방자치, 리질리언스’라는 주제로 △일자리 및 고용환경 개선 △사회적 불평등 완화 △경제적 불평등 완화 △인구구조 변화 대응 △기후환경 생태 △지역문화 활성화 △공동체 강화 등 7개 분야 186개 우수사례를 발표한다.
현장 발표를 통해 7개 분야별 최우수상 3팀, 우수상 6팀을 선정, 총 63개 사례를 우수사례로 선정해 시상한다.
대회 기간 분야별 사례 발표회를 비롯해 ‘기후 위기 및 지방소멸 대응’을 주제로 전문가 초청 강연과 김해 봉황예술극장과 김해시립 가야금연주단의 공연 등 다양한 문화행사가 진행된다.
홍태용 김해시장은 “2년 연속 공약 평가에서 최우수를 받은 김해시에서 이번 대회를 개최하게 돼 뜻깊다”며 “예측 불가능한 시대에 전국의 우수한 사례들을 서로 나누고 배우면서 새로운 정책 대안을 모색하고 역량을 강화하는 기회의 장이 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

National Manifesto Best Practice Competition held at Inje University
The ‘14th National Local Government Heads Manifesto Best Practice Competition’ will be held at Inje University for two days on the 30th and 31st.
This competition, a venue for discovering, sharing, and learning about excellent pledges and policy cases of local government administration across the country, is co-hosted by the Korea Manifesto Implementation Headquarters and Gyeongnam Research Institute and sponsored by Gimhae City.
The competition will be held with the participation of 148 cities, counties, and districts across the country, and will present 186 best practices in 7 fields under the theme of ‘Rewriting Local Autonomy, Resilience’: △Improving jobs and employment environment △Alleviating social inequality △Alleviating economic inequality △Responding to changes in population structure △Climate environment and ecology △Activating local culture △Strengthening communities.
Through on-site presentations, 3 teams will be selected for the grand prize and 6 teams for excellence in each of the 7 categories, and a total of 63 cases will be selected and awarded as excellent cases.
During the competition, various cultural events will be held, including case presentations by each category, lectures by experts on the topic of ‘Climate Crisis and Local Extinction Response’, and performances by Gimhae Bonghwang Arts Theater and Gimhae City Gayageum Ensemble.
