화성시, 웰다잉 문화조성 사업 현장 방문

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 ‘웰다잉 문화조성 사업’의 ‘어르신 인생노트 사업’을 수탁해 운영하는 기관을 방문했다.

‘웰다잉 문화조성 사업’은 웰다잉 문화 확산과 죽음에 대한 인식 개선을 위해 화성시가 지난2022년부터추진하고 있는 사업으로, ‘어르신 인생노트 사업’과 ‘웰다잉 문화활동가 지원사업’으로 구성돼 있다.

이번 하반기 현장방문 실시대상인 ‘어르신 인생노트 사업’은 어르신들이 자서전 쓰기 등을 통해 살아온 삶을 되돌아보고 여생을 주체적으로 살아갈 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램이다.

시는 지난 24일 나래울종합사회복지관과 화성서부노인복지관, 27일 화성남부노인복지관과 화성동탄노인복지관을 방문해 하반기 사업 추진 현황 등을 점검하고 관계자 면담을 통해 현장 의견을 수렴했다.

시는 이날 수렴된 의견을 향후 사업 반영을 검토할 예정으로, 오는 12월에는 하반기 보조금 수탁기관 간담회를 개최해 올해 사업을 마무리할 계획이다.

송경수 위생정책과장은 “웰다잉 문화조성 사업이 관내 어르신들께서 죽음에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 함양하고 미래를 주체적으로 준비할 수 있는 사업이 될 수 있도록 사업 운영에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
