[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시국제교류센터는 ‘2024 수원-항저우 초등학생 상호방문교류’ 프로그램을 개최했다.
지난 9월 29일부터 10월 2일까지 3박 4일간 진행된 방문 프로그램에는 항저우 초등학생 24명과 인솔교사 4명이 참여해, 수원시의 역사와 문화를 알렸다.
참여자들은 주요 활동으로 수원화성체험(국궁, 화성어차), 화성행궁 견학, 행궁동 공방체험, 수원전통문화관 예절다도체험 등을 했다. 또 매산초등학교에서 한국어 수업 참여, 3D 모형 만들기 체험, 한국 급식문화 체험 등을 하며 초등학생들과 교류했다.
이번 프로그램은 2009년 중국 항저우시와 국제우호도시협약 체결 이후 공동 추진하는 첫 민간 청소년교류다. 2025년 4월에는 수원시 초등학생들이 중국 항저우시를 방문할 계획이다.
수원시 관계자는 “이번 프로그램이 양국 초등학생들이 서로의 문화를 이해하고, 국제적인 시각을 넓힐 좋은 기회가 됐을 것”이라며 “앞으로도 항저우시와 지속적인 청소년 교류를 하며 두 도시의 우호 관계를 더 발전시키겠다”고 말했다.
