평택시의회, ‘메세나 연구회’ 중간보고회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시의회 ‘메세나 연구회’는 정책 연구용역 중간 보고회를 개최했다.

2일 평택시의회 간담회장에서 김혜영 대표 의원을 비롯해, 이종원·김산수·최재영 의원과 외부 전문가 회원, 문화국제국장,문화예술과장, 평택문화재단 대표이사 등 약 20명이 참석했으며, 회원 소개 및 인사 후 연구용역 중간보고를 청취하고 질의응답 시간을 가졌다.

해당 연구용역은 ‘평택시 메세나 도입 및 활성화 방안’ 연구를 위하여 올해 5월 착수보고회를 시작으로 벤치마킹과 여러 차례의 간담회, 특강 등의 활동을 진행하였으며, 연구용역을 맡은 평택대학교 산학협력단 이흥연 교수는 ▲평택시 메세나 활성화를 위한 기반 조성 방안 ▲국내·외 메세나 사례 ▲지역 메세나 과제 및 지향점 등 그간의 연구 추진 사항을 발표했다.

김혜영 대표 의원은 “연구회 활동을 진행하면서 하루 속히 평택시에 메세나가 도입되고 활성화되어 문화가 있는 삶을 누리기를 기대하는 시민과 기업들이 많이 계심을 알게 되었다”고 말하며, “앞으로 평택형 메세나가 잘 정착될 수 있는 토대를 마련하기 위해 지역 사회의 의견을 수렴하고 여러 전문가와 힘을 합쳐 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
