오산시, 남해군과 자매결연 협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시는 경남 남해군과 남해군청에서 자매결연 협약을 체결했다.

7일 자매결연 협약식에는 이권재 오산시장, 이상복 오산시의회 의장 및 시의원, 장충남 남해군수, 정영란 남해군의회 의장 및 군의원, 양 지자체 관계 공무원 등 50여 명이 참석했다.

이권재 시장은 기념사를 통해 “산과 바다가 어우러져 천혜의 자연경관을 자아내는 남해군은 남해~여수 해저터널을 통해 1,000만 관광객 시대를 준비하고 있고, 오산시는 경기 남부의 중심도시로 반도체 소부장 첨단 산업 유치와 지역 개발을 통해 인구 50만 자족형 커넥트 시티로 성장하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 오산시가 보유한 다양한 문화, 산업시설 등을 남해군과 교류할 수 있도록 지속적으로 소통하고 협력하겠다”고 말했다.

장충남 남해군수는 “R&D를 통해 4차 산업혁명을 주도하는 ‘미래도시 오산’과 남해안 관광벨트를 대표하는 생태관광 허브 ‘비상하는 남해’가 서로 협력함으로써 공동번영의 터전을 일궈나가길 바란다”고 말했다.
