오산시, 겨울철 자연재난 사전대비 추진 보고회

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시는 ‘2024년 겨울철 자연재난 사전대비 추진보고회’를 개최했다.

지난 10일 폭설과 한파 등 겨울철 자연재난에 신속하고 체계적인 대응 및 응급복구 체계 구축 등을 위해 오산시청 4층 재난안전상황실에서 진행했다.

이번 추진보고회는 강현도 오산시 부시장의 주재로 겨울철 자연재난 관련 부서들의 사전대비 추진 현황 등을 점검하고 자연재난 피해를 최소화하기 위해 본청 및 사업소, 8개 동 등 18개 소관부서장이 부서별 점검 사항 등 추진 현황을 발표했다.

부서별로 대설 및 한파 대비 비상체제를 가동하기로 하고 재난 취약 시설별 특성을 고려해 철저히 사전 점검할 예정이다.

이번 사전대비 점검은 ▲비상대응계획 및 비상연락체계 정비 ▲겨울철 도로제설 대책 ▲제설장비, 자재 등 방재물자 사전 확보 ▲재해구호 및 한파 취약계층 지원 ▲적설취약구조물 및 수도 동파 방지대책 등으로 수립해 추진한다.

강현도부시장은 “기상청에서 겨울철 동안 많은 눈과 극한의 추위 가능성을 시사하고 있으므로 대비를 철저히 해야 한다”면서 “이상기후가 계속되면서 자연재난의 규모 및 피해 예측이 어렵기 때문에 모두 적극적으로 참여해 더 나은 대비 태세를 구축하는 데 노력해 달라”고 당부했다.
