수원시는 지난 8월 8일부터 9월 13일까지 4개월이상 공동주택 관리비를 체납한 1100가구, 공공임대주택 임차료를 체납한 660가구 등 1760가구를 발굴 조사해 실태를 파악했다.
체납가구의 생활 실태를 조사해 복지 욕구가 있는 가구원을 파악·확인하고, 도움이 필요한 가구에는 적절한 복지서비스를 연계했다.
맞춤형 급여(생계·의료·주거) 지원 5건, 긴급복지 5건, 기타 공공복지 지원 17건, 민간자원 연계가 1688건이었다. 1760가구 중 다른 지자체로 전출한 7가구를 제외한 1753가구 중 97.8%에 사회복지서비스를 제공했다.
