미꾸라지 한 마리가 온 우물물을 흐린다는 말이 떠오른다. A라는 정체불명의 목사가 백화점에서 디올백을 사가지고 대통령부인을 면담한 후 이를 던지듯 주고 나왔다. 그는 백을 사는 과정부터 면담하는 장면까지 첨단장비를 사용해 몰래 촬영했다. 비밀스파이나 하는 공작수준이다. 그는 때를 골라 이를 폭로하고 세상을 뒤흔들었다.

우리말에 빈대 잡자고 초가삼간 태울 수 없다는 말이 있다. 그런데 이번에 다시 탄핵으로 정권이 무너지면 불타는 것은 초가삼간이 아니라 대한민국의 민주공화정이다. 대한민국은 경제번영과 민주주의 꽃을 피운 나라다. 그리고 그 힘으로 통일을 앞두고 있다. 이 기적의 역사는 바로 민주공화정이라는 체제의 산물이다. 민주공화정을 지켜야 한다. 국민의힘이 선봉에 서서 뜻있는 국민의 역량을 결집해야 한다. 태풍을 이겨내면 진정 평온한 시간이 기다리고 있을 것이다.
