[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주국제농식품박람회가 지난 6일부터 10일까지 5일간 진주종합경기장 일원에서 개최해 내년을 기약하며 성황리에 폐막했다고 11일 밝혔다.
박람회는 농업기술의 전시로 미래 농업의 방향을 제시하고 다채로운 체험프로그램으로 관람객들의 발길을 끌며 약 32만명의 관람객에게 힐링과 감동을 선사하며 마무리됐다.
행사는 진주국화작품전시회, 토종농산물 종자전시회, 제26회 수출탑 시상식, 제7회 쌀전업농 진주시연합회 한마음대회 등 동반행사로 농업인과 관람객의 이목을 집중시켰다.
또 부대행사로 펼쳐진 축산물 소비촉진 시식회, 문화·예술 공연, 도심 속 목장나들이 등은 다양한 볼거리와 먹거리를 제공하면서 관람객들을 즐겁게 만들었다.
특히 시는 안전한 보행 환경을 위해 전시장 설계 단계부터 각종 배관과 배선을 매립형으로 시공, 안전관리요원 배치 등으로 관람객이 안전하게 박람회를 즐길 수 있도록 진행했다.
진주시 관계자는 “이번 박람회가 관람객들에게 소중한 추억이 되었기를 바란다”며“내년에도 다채로운 프로그램을 준비해 매년 기다려지는 안전한 체험형 박람회를 기획하겠다”고 말했다.
