[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 2024년 수요자 중심 장애인지원체계 지원사업 평가에서 ‘신규 등록장애인 ONE-STOP 바로지원서비스’로 최우수상 수상했다.
신규(등록)장애인 ONE-STOP 바로지원서비스는 보건복지부와 한국장애인개발원이 전국 지자체를 대상으로 공모사업에 선정되어 국비 2000만원을 지원받아 지난 5월부터 10월까지 시행됐다.
보건복지부와 한국장애인개발원은 사업추진 지자체를 대상으로 엄격한 심의를 거쳐 이번에 표창 대상을 선발하여 발표했으며, 진주시는 사업의 우수성을 평가받아 ‘최우수상’을 수상했다.
이날 현판식에는 차석호 진주시 부시장과 진주시장애인종합복지관 배진기 관장, 6개 민간협력기관 대표들이 참석해 장애인복지서비스를 지속적으로 추진해 나갈 것을 표명했다.
진주시는 사업내용을 좀 더 촘촘히 구성하고 다양한 민간기관과 연계협력을 통해 장애인일자리 지원 및 장애인 연령 및 특성 등을 반영한 장애인복지서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
진주시 관계자는 “장애인의 생활안정과 편의증진, 재활과 자립기반 조성을 위해 다양한 시책을 수립하고 꼼꼼히 살펴 내실 있게 추진할 것이다”고 말했다.
