브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대표는 16일 "아직 내란은 끝나지 않았다. 더 큰 내란이 진행 중"이라며 국민의힘이 윤석열 대통령의 계엄 선포를 옹호하는 모습을 보이고 있다고 맹비판했다.
이재명 대표는 이날 국회 본청에서 열린 민주당 최고위원회의에서 "이런 사람(윤 대통령)이 다시 나오지 말라는 법이 있나. 국민의힘이라는 보수정당의 이름을 가진 당이 하는 일을 보라. 지금도 반성하지 않는다. 그 알량한 권력이 미쳤다고도 할 수 없는 이 광적인 행위를 옹호한다"라고 밝혔다.
이 대표는 "만약 계엄이 성공했다면 소위 군정이 실시되는 것이다. 사회의 모든 행정영역을 군인이 결정하게 되는 것"이라며 "부정선거라고 단정한 다음 선거를 무효로 처리하고 국회의원들 자격을 박탈하고, 다 계엄포고령 위반으로 잡아 벙커에 넣던지, 실종될 수 있다. 끔찍하지 않나"라고 반문했다.
이어 "모든 권력을 자기 손아귀에 틀어쥐는 왕이 되려고 한 것이다. 윤 대통령은 이게 꿈이 아니라 실제로 실행했다"면서 "다행히 우리 국민들의 힘으로 저지했다"라고 강조했다.
이 대표는 특히 국민의힘을 향해 "그를 다시 되살려내기 위해 최선을 다하고 있다"라며 "다시 살아오도록, 집권이 복귀될 수 있도록 집단으로 노력하지 않나"라고 꼬집었다.
그러면서 "국민 여러분, 반드시 이겨내자. 전 세계에 대한민국의 위대함을, 그리고 민주주의의 회복력을 꼭 보여주자"라고 덧붙였다.
