진주시, 공공데이터 제공 운영평가 3년 연속 ‘우수’

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 행정안전부가 주관하는 ‘2024년 공공데이터 제공 운영실태 평가’에서 3년 연속 최고 등급인 ‘우수’기관으로 선정됐다고 6일 밝혔다.

공공데이터 제공 운영실태 평가는 전국 679개 기관을 대상으로 공공기관이 보유한 데이터를 얼마나 효율적으로 개방하고 활용하는지를 평가하는 제도다.

진주시는 공공데이터 활성화 시행 계획을 기반으로 한 정책 수행, 공공데이터 중장기 개방 적극 수립 및 이행 등 공공데이터 개방·활용 분야에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

진주시 관계자는 “앞으로도 시민 생활과 밀접한 민간데이터와 공공데이터를 개방해 데이터에 기반한 현안 해결 능력을 더욱 키워나가겠다”고 말했다.
