(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 20일, 관내 사회복지시설을 대상으로 인천시사회서비스원과 함께 ‘안전 점검 지원사업’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 사업은 소방·전기, 방역·방충, 차량 소독 등 총 세 가지 분야로, 인천시사회서비스원이 지난 4월 참여 기관을 모집한 데 이어 이달 26일부터 본격적으로 사업이 시작된다.
소방·전기 분야는 전문가가 직접 시설을 방문해 소화기 설치 현황, 화재경보기 및 가스차단기 등 화재 예방 기기의 작동 여부와 함께 시설 전체의 소방 및 전기 설비 상태를 살피고, 종사자에게 각 시설 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 안전 교육도 제공한다.
이 분야는 총 63개 기관을 대상으로 연 1회 실시된다.
방역·방충 분야는 코로나19 팬데믹 이후인 2022년부터 시작된 사업으로, 전문업체가 시설 내·외부 전체에 대해 방역 및 방충 작업을 실시하고, 종사자 교육도 병행된다.
총 33개 기관을 대상으로 연 3회 지원되며, 시설 운영에 있어 필수적인 방역·방충 비용을 인천시가 무료로 지원함에 따라 현장의 만족도가 매우 높다는 평가를 받고 있다.
차량 소독 분야는 지난해부터 도입된 신규사업으로, 사회복지시설의 현장 의견을 반영해 시작됐다.
전문업체가 5인승 소형 승용차부터 승합차, 휠체어 리프트 장착 차량까지 다양한 차량을 직접 소독하며, 총 15개 기관을 대상으로 연 2회 지원된다. 다만, 15인승을 초과하는 차량은 지원 대상에서 제외된다.
이번 안전 점검 지원사업은 2021년부터 매년 시행되고 있으며, 지난해까지 누적 388개 시설이 이 사업을 통해 지원을 받았다.
