(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시와 인천관광공사가 4일부터 인천시티투어를 본격 운행한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 올해 인천시티투어는 순환형 노선 2개(바다노선, 인천레트로노선)와 테마형 노선 6개(무의도, 청라, 선재·영흥, 교동도, 석모도, 노을야경) 등 총 8개 노선으로 구성된다.
운영사 선정 일정이 예년보다 늦어짐에 따라 전체 노선 운행 일정이 조정되었으며, 이 중 바다노선이 가장 먼저 운행을 시작하게 됐다.
특히, 올해는 바다노선의 2층 버스 4대를 제외한 차량 3대를 친환경 차량으로 교체했으며, 인천레트로노선과 테마형 노선은 현재 차량 정비 및 시스템 안정화 작업이 완료되는 대로 6월 중 운행을 개시할 예정이다.
바다노선은 인천종합관광안내소를 출발해 공항 제2여객터미널(T2), 인스파이어 엔터테인먼트 리조트, 을왕리해수욕장, 파라다이스시티, G타워 등 송도와 영종도의 주요 관광지를 경유하는 순환형 노선이다.
