충남 계룡시가 9일 확대간부회의를 열고 제21대 대통령선거 이후 변화된 국정 기조에 선제적으로 대응하기 위한 내부 전략을 가다듬었다.
이번 회의에는 이응우 시장을 비롯해 30여 명의 간부공무원이 참석해, 계룡시 핵심 과제의 추진 방향과 국정과제 연계 방안을 중점 논의했다.
이응우 시장은 새 정부 출범은 곧 국정운영의 틀이 달라지는 시기라며, 시가 추진 중인 주요 정책들이 중앙정부의 과제에 포함될 수 있도록 사전 준비와 전략적 접근이 무엇보다 중요하다고 강조했다.
이날 회의에서는 '국방 관련 공공기관 유치', '지능형 센서 기술의 SPIN-ON 지원체계 마련', '신도역 재개통 및 호남선 복개사업 추진', '안보테마공원 조성', ' 국군 의무사관학교 유치' 등 굵직한 과제들이 집중 거론됐다.

한편, 이 시장은 여름철 기후 변화에 따른 재해 가능성에도 대비를 당부했다. 그는 “국지성 집중호우 등 이상기후가 잦아지는 만큼, 침수와 산사태 같은 재난에 대한 철저한 대응이 필요하다”며 현장 중심의 예방활동에 최선을 다할 것을 주문했다.
