(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 법무부 인천보호관찰소가 지난 11일 법무무 위치추적중앙관제센터, 인천광역시경찰청, 인천미추홀경찰서와 합동으로 ‘전자장치 부착 잠정조치 합동 모의훈련’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
인천보호관찰소에 따르면, ‘전자장치 부착 잠정조치’는 법원에서 피해자 접근금지 결정을 받은 스토킹행위자에게 전자장치(속칭 ‘전자발찌’)를 부착함으로써 스토킹범죄 피해자를 보호하고 강력범죄를 예방하기 위해 2024년 1월 12일 전면 시행된 제도이다.
이날 인천시 미추홀구 용현동 일대에서 실시된 모의훈련에는 법무부 인천보호관찰소 보호관찰관 및 인천지방경찰청, 인천미추홀경찰서, 미추홀구 관할 지구대 경찰관 등 총 20여 명이 참석했다.
이번 모의훈련은 스토킹행위자가 전자장치를 훼손한 상황과 피해자에게 접근하는 상황에 대해 법무부 위치추적중앙관제센터에서 경찰에 신속히 통지하여 스토킹행위자를 체포함과 동시에 피해자 보호 조치를 진행하는 방법으로 실시됐다.
문희갑 인천보호관찰소장은 “스토킹범죄로부터 피해자를 보호하기 위해 앞으로도 경찰과 주기적으로 합동 모의훈련을 실시하여 현장 대응력을 강화해 나갈 것이다.”고 말했다.
