(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 16일, 인천환경공단과 함께 자원순환센터에 대한 시민들의 긍정적인 인식을 확산하고, 친환경 자원순환 정책에 대한 창의적인 의견을 수렴하기 위해 ‘친환경 자원순환센터 영상콘텐츠 공모전’과 ‘자원순환실천 학생토론대회’를 지난해에 이어 올해도 개최한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 2026년부터 시행되는 생활폐기물 직매립 금지에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 군·구와 함께 ‘자원순환정책 지원협의회’를 운영해 안정적이고 실질적인 생활폐기물 처리 방안 마련에 주력해 왔다.
또, 청년 서포터스 ‘에코 크리에이터즈’ 운영, 선진 자원순환센터 견학, 자원순환 아카데미 등 다양한 시민 참여형 홍보 활동을 지속해 오고 있다.
‘친환경 자원순환센터 영상콘텐츠 공모전’은 인천의 자원순환센터에 대한 시민 인식을 개선하고 친근하게 알릴 수 있는 자유주제로 15초 이상 60초 이내의 숏폼 영상 콘텐츠를 공모한다.
공모 기간은 6월 16일부터 8월 5일까지이며, 자원순환 정책에 관심 있는 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
응모 방법은 인천시 누리집에 게시된 서식을 참고해 전자우편으로 제출하면 된다.
인천시는 교육, 혁신, 환경 분야의 전문가들로 심사위원을 구성하고, 심사를 통해 최종 2점을 선정할 계획이다.
수상자에게는 대상(인천시장상)과 최우수상(인천환경공단 이사장상)이 각각 수여되며, 소정의 부상금도 함께 제공된다. 시상식은 오는 9월 4일 시청 대회의실에서 열리는 ‘자원순환실천 학생 토론대회’와 함께 진행된다.
