(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 20일 열린 ‘2025년 장애인건강보건통합성과대회’에서 ‘지역사회중심재활사업 우수사례’ 부문 전국 최우수기관으로 선정돼 보건복지부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 보건복지부가 주관한 통합성과대회는 전국 보건소 및 유관기관을 대상으로 지역사회 장애인 건강보건사업의 성과를 공유하고, 우수기관 및 사례를 발굴·포상하는 자리이다.
계양구는 장애인 재활사업의 우수성과 실효성을 인정받아 전국의 주목을 받았다.
계양구보건소는 재활 취약계층 대상 맞춤형 건강관리, 장애인 방문재활서비스 확대, 민관 통합재활사업 등을 통해 지역 특성에 맞춘 선도 모델을 구축해 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히, 장애인 건강행태 개선 프로그램 운영, 가정방문 재활서비스, 지역 의료기관 및 복지기관과의 연계 모델 개발 등 지역 실정에 맞춘 통합적 접근으로 재활서비스의 실효성을 높였다는 점에서 우수사례로 인정받았다.
윤환 구청장은 “이번 수상은 지역 장애인의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해 노력해온 직원들과 협력기관 모두의 성과”라며, “앞으로도 주민이 체감할 수 있는 건강재활 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
