(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천계양소방서가 23일부터 오는 25일까지 신속동료구조팀(RIT, Rapid Intervention Team) 교육훈련을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
계양소방서에 따르면, RIT는 현장활동 중 고립 등 사고를 당한 동료 소방관을 구조하는 임무를 수행한다.
이번 훈련에서 소방서는 소방활동 중 매몰.고립으로 인해 위험에 처한 동료 소방관을 신속.정확하게 구조하는 능력을 배양하는 데 주안점을 뒀다.
훈련은 구조장비를 갖춘 각 RIT 대원들이 2명씩 조를 이룬 가운데 열화상카메라 등 RIT 기본장비 사용 숙달, 비상탈출 및 얽힘공간 탈출 등 자립 생존, 라이트라인을 활용한 고립 대원 검색 및 퇴출로 확보 능력 배양, 이동식 공기공급장치를 이용한 고립 대원 공기 공급, 고립 대원 구출을 위한 로프 등 이용 광범위 수색법 숙달 등 내용으로 진행됐다.
이재영 119구조대장은 “위급한 상황에서 동료의 생명을 지키기 위한 신속동료구조팀의 역할은 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “실전과 같은 반복 훈련을 통해 현장 대응 능력을 지속적으로 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
또한, 계양소방서가 23일 본서 119상황실에서 기상특보 발효로 인한 119신고 폭주에 대비하기 위해 모의훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
계양소방서에 따르면, 이번 훈련은 풍수해(태풍, 호우, 강풍) 발생으로 119신고 접수가 폭증해 정상적인 상황 관제가 불가능할 수 있는 상황에서도 원활히 대처할 수 있는 재난 대응체계를 갖추기 위해 추진됐다.
훈련은 비상근무체계 발령, 소방서의 풍수해 초기상황대응반 운영, 소방서별 동시 신고 접수로 119신고 폭주 상황 해결, 본부 비상대책반과 진행 상황 확인등 순으로 진행됐다.
소방서 관계자는 “이번 모의훈련은 실제 상황을 가정해 신고 폭주에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는지 점검하는 데 중점을 뒀다”며 “기상특보 발효 시에도 빈틈없는 상황관리로 시민의 피해를 최소화할 수 있도록 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
