대전시가 대전과학산업진흥원(DiSTEP)과 공동으로 오는 6월 27일(금) 오후 12시 30분, 대전컨벤션센터(DCC) 제1전시장 3층 컨퍼런스홀에서 ‘2025 대전 전략산업 포럼’을 개최한다.
이번 포럼은 글로벌 경제의 혼란 속에서 대전이 주력하고 있는 6대 전략산업(ABCDQR: 우주항공·바이오헬스·반도체·국방·양자·로봇)의 지속가능한 발전 방향을 모색하고, 민·관·학·연·군이 유기적으로 협력할 수 있는 실질적 논의의 장으로 마련됐다.
대전시는 이번 행사가 “불확실한 세계 정세 속에서 지역 산업이 직면한 위협 요인을 진단하고, 이에 대한 현실적인 대응 방안을 논의하는 자리”라며 지역 전략산업의 재도약을 위한 교두보로 기대하고 있다.
올해 포럼은 ‘혼돈의 글로벌 경제, 지역 전략산업의 대응전략’이라는 주제로 총 6개 세션으로 구성된다. 각 세션에서는 해당 분야의 전문가들이 산업별 전망과 대응전략을 심도 있게 제시하며, 발표 후에는 질의응답 시간을 통해 참석자들과의 소통도 이어진다.
1세션에서는 박시수 스페이스레이더 대표가 ‘트럼프 정부의 우주정책과 이에 대응하는 대전시 우주산업 육성 방향’을 발표한다. 미국 중심의 우주 패권 전략 변화에 대전이 어떻게 대응할 것인지에 대한 논의가 이뤄질 전망이다.
이어서 2세션에서는 조군호 충남대학교 연구위원이 ‘급변하는 바이오헬스 산업에서 대전의 첨단 바이오 분야 성장을 위한 인재 양성 전략’을 주제로 대전의 바이오 교육 인프라 확충 필요성을 강조할 예정이다.
3세션은 반도체 산업을 다룬다. 구본태 한국전자통신연구원 본부장은 ‘트럼프 관세전쟁과 중국의 추격 속, 사활의 기로에 선 지역 반도체 산업의 대응전략’을 발표하며 지역 산업의 위기 대응 방향을 제시한다.
4세션에서는 김건희 한밭대학교 교수가 ‘K-방산의 성공을 이어가기 위한 지역 국방산업의 선택과 집중’을 주제로 발표하며, 국방산업 내 지역 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 전략을 설명한다.
이어 5세션에서는 이용호 한국표준과학연구원 단장이 ‘미래 양자 기술 패권 확보를 위한 기업-산학연 클러스터 구축 방안’을 통해 양자산업 기반 조성을 위한 협력체계 구축을 제안한다.
마지막 6세션에서는 이경준 한국로봇산업협회 본부장이 ‘로봇 기술 발전에 따른 정부와 지자체, 대전의 역할’을 주제로 로봇산업 생태계 조성을 위한 거버넌스 구축 방안을 발표할 예정이다.
이번 포럼은 산업계 전문가뿐 아니라 다양한 세대와 분야에서 참여가 예정되어 있어, 전략산업에 대한 지역 구성원 간 공감대를 넓히고 산업 생태계에 대한 사회적 관심을 촉진할 것으로 기대된다.
손철웅 대전시 미래전략산업실장은 “이번 포럼은 대전이 보유한 전략산업의 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 재조명하는 계기이자, 미래 산업 주도권을 확보하기 위한 이정표가 될 것”이라며 “지속 가능한 혁신 생태계를 조성하기 위해 민·관·학·연의 긴밀한 협력을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
