논산시, 6.25전쟁 기념·참전유공자 선양 행사 개최

충남 논산시(시장 백성현)는 6월 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 6.25전쟁의 역사적 의미를 되새기고, 참전유공자의 헌신에 깊은 감사를 전하는 선양 행사를 개최했다. 

이번 행사는 지난 25일 국방항공고등학교에서 열렸으며, 국가유공자에 대한 예우와 보훈 정신의 세대 간 계승을 목적으로 마련됐다.

행사는 국민의례와 개식을 시작으로 보훈단체 소개, 화랑무공훈장 전수, 6.25참전유공자회 논산시지회장의 대회사, 백성현 시장의 기념사, 논산시의회 의장 및 대전지방보훈청장의 격려사 순으로 진행됐다. 엄숙한 분위기 속에서도 따뜻한 존경과 감사의 마음이 묻어나는 시간이 이어졌다.

특히 지역 청소년들이 직접 참여한 시 낭송과 합창, 태권도 시범은 행사에 활력을 더했으며, ‘6.25 노래’ 제창과 만세삼창은 참석자 모두가 하나 되어 국가유공자에 대한 존경심과 감사의 뜻을 나누는 특별한 순간으로 남았다.
