대전의 인공지능(AI) 및 정보통신기술(ICT) 산업을 분석하고, 기업 맞춤형 서비스 모델을 제안하는 대학(원)생 중심의 도전 무대가 마련됐다.
산·학·관 협력이 주도하는 이번 프로젝트는 지역 기업에 실질적 도움을 주는 동시에 청년 인재의 취업 연계와 산업 이해도 제고를 목표로 한다.
충남대학교 바이오AI융합연구센터는 오는 7월 13일까지 ‘2025 대전 AI·ICT 기업 리서치 및 아이디어 챌린지’ 참가팀을 공개 모집한다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 대전시 미래전략사업실이 주최하고, 충남대 바이오AI융합연구센터를 비롯해 소프트웨어중심대학사업단, 인재개발원, 데이터보완활용혁신융합대학사업단, 대전창조경제혁신센터가 공동 주관기관으로 참여한다.
참가 자격은 대전 소재 대학에 재학 중인 학부 및 대학원생이며, 개인 또는 최대 4인 이내의 팀으로 신청할 수 있다. 참가자들은 AI 기술을 활용해 대전 지역의 AI 및 ICT 관련 기업을 심층 조사하고, 각 기업의 사업 특성을 반영한 창의적이고 실용적인 맞춤형 서비스 및 비즈니스 모델을 제안하게 된다.
기업에 대한 리서치 보고서와 아이디어 제안서는 7월 31일까지 제출해야 한다. 제출된 자료는 전문가 심사를 통해 1차로 10개 팀이 선정되며, 이들 팀은 오는 9월 10일 개최되는 ‘대전 AI 취·창업 박람회’에서 최종 발표 무대에 오른다. 본선에서는 실시간 발표 평가를 통해 대상 1팀(충남대 총장상, 상금 200만 원)을 포함한 총 8개 팀에 상패와 상금이 수여될 예정이다.
이번 챌린지는 대전지역 AI·ICT 기업의 역량 강화와 지속 가능한 성장 기반 마련을 목표로 기획됐다. 동시에 대학(원)생들이 산업현장과의 접점을 넓히고, 지역 기업에 대한 이해를 높이는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.

A challenge stage centered on university students has been prepared to analyze Daejeon's artificial intelligence (AI) and information and communication technology (ICT) industries and propose customized service models for companies.

Chungnam National University's Bio AI Convergence Research Center announced on the 30th that it will open recruitment for participating teams for the '2025 Daejeon AI·ICT Corporate Research and Idea Challenge' until July 13th.
This event is hosted by the Daejeon City Future Strategy Office, and the Chungnam National University Bio AI Convergence Research Center, Software-centered University Business Group, Human Resources Development Center, Data Supplementation and Utilization Innovation Convergence University Business Group, and Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center are participating as co-hosting organizations.

Research reports and idea proposals for companies must be submitted by July 31. The submitted materials will be reviewed by experts and 10 teams will be selected in the first round, and these teams will make their final presentations at the ‘Daejeon AI Job and Startup Fair’ to be held on September 10. In the final round, a total of 8 teams, including the grand prize team (Chungnam National University President’s Award, prize money of 2 million won), will be awarded plaques and prize money through real-time presentation evaluation.
This challenge was planned with the goal of strengthening the capabilities of AI and ICT companies in the Daejeon area and establishing a foundation for sustainable growth.
